Rethreaded
Rethreaded empowers survivors of human trafficking, right here in Jacksonville, heal and rebuild their lives.
PSM partners with Rethreaded in two ways:
- We provide survivors with essential items they need, like pillows, which are donated by our partner, Helix.
- We donate clothing, which Rethreaded’s survivors upcycle into products they sell in their retail store.
Giving Closet
Giving Closet supplies children from low-income families with individualized care packages, including essential clothing and school supplies.
PSM gathers, sorts, and delivers needed clothing and supplies for Giving Closet to distribute.
Giving Closet estimates that we’ve donated around $250,000.00 worth of school uniforms and other supplies, which they have given directly to children in need.
Three Grains of Rice
Three Grains of Rice Missions provides local and international support to individuals and organizations in need of wellness supplies.
85% of their focus is in Northeast Florida, and the rest of their work is international.
PSM collects, organizes, and gives Three Grains of Rice new clothing to distribute to victims of violence locally and in South and Central America.
We will collaborate with anyone who shares our passion for serving our neighbors, whether next door or across the globe.
Presbyterian Social Ministries (PSM) is a faith-based organization, and we internally operate according to our core beliefs and values.
However, we work with any organization, whether a corporation with new items to donate or an agency with clients in need, which is guided by our shared principles. We do not discriminate, whether in our partnerships or in whom we serve, based on race, religion, or creed.
Our only requirement for our partners is that they agree to never sell the items and clothing which we donate to them. We believe in radical generosity, and what we have, we freely give.
